 the most important thing in decoraPHOTOS.com are your photographs. Please read carefully the following information in order to get the best result able. WHEN and WHERE you should send your photos When Your photo/s will be requested once the order is placed. This way we can link every photo to its order. This is the only way we have to know what to do with your photo/s Where As we said before, we can work both digital and paper photographs. At the end of the ordering process you´ll see the e-mail and postal adress in order to send us your photos. Photo features Before anything and if you don´t want to get bored with technical stuff, be quite sure you may send your photos (paper or digital) without any obligation in order to test them and assure you the biggest possible printing size. There´re several critical factors as we work with photographs, such size and resolution; factors that are advisable to have clear: digital photos - Size. Digital photos size are mesured in pixels. The size the photo you send us will determine the posible final size the art work will have. That´s why it´s really important to have the biggest photo able. In decoraPHOTOS.com we use the most advanced programs for digital image enlargement without any quality clear lose, this way we achieve size and great quality results. At the end of the page there´s a table where we explain, depending on your camera´s resolution (Mb), the size your camera takes pictures, (right column, image size in pixels). Based on this size, on the table you can see which size you could print your photographs (printing size in cm). - Resolution. Resolution is measured in dpi (dots per inch). The most dpi, the best final photo quality. Digital photo size reduction makes higher resolution, that´s why both terms are easly confused. We always enlarge the photos, never reduce them, so we need the best quality able - Format and compression. These two factors usually go together cause decided format to save your photo implies the applied compression. The best you can do is to send us your photo in .jpg or .jpeg and with no compression. If your camera does not allow you to choose compression or you don´t know how to do it from your computer, you shoul better choose TIFF or .tif if you can. Paper photos - Size: the same as digital photos but even easier: the bigger the photo, the bigger the enlargement. In our studio we´ll turn it into digital with the most advanced programs in order to get the best quality. The perfect size is 18x24cm or higher. - Resolution: As opposed to digital photos, resolution is not a problem with paper photos, of course we talk about developed photos and not printed photos. In this last case, it depends on the printing quality. Sizes and resolution summary table If your photos don´t fit this table it doesn´t neccessary mean we can´t work with it.
